Community Service

The Tall Pine Council Boy Scouts participate annually in the Scout For Food Drive in the month of March. The Scouts deliver bags door to door on a Saturday morning, and the following week the Scouts pick them up containing the food that area residents have donated. The food is then taken to local food banks for distribution to needy families throughout the community. Tall Pine Council Scouts have collected an average of 75,000 pounds of food over the past few years.
