Vision Statement

Every youth in Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties will have an opportunity to participate in Scouting.

Lasting results will:
  • Improve Educational Performance
  • Increase the number of Community Service Projects
  • Improve Family Relationships
  • Develop Community Leaders
  • Reduce Juvenile Crime
  • Improve Employment in Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties
  • Produce a better community and country in which to live

These lasting results are accomplished through involvement in the worlds premier youth program, The Boy Scouts of America, founded in 1910. Scouting provides diverse programming for youth of all socio-economic backgrounds and develops partnerships that offer fun and adventure while they learn life skills, responsibility and develop their individual character.

The Tall Pine Council’s Vision is to be accomplished by additional youth involvement and activity enhancement of the major departments within our council.
