WHERE: Kettering University
1700 West Third Avenue
(Academic Building - Look for Signs)

TIME: 8:00 am - 8:30 am for Check-in
8:30 am - 4:00 pm for Sessions


COST: $15 per participant (YOUTH OR ADULT), includes participant patch and lunch

Pre-register $15 by November 19th, after November 19th fee is $20 per participant until December 1st.

LIMIT ONE MERIT BADGE PER SCOUT

SCOUTS NEED TO BE IN FULL UNIFORM

SAFETY POLICY : Full long pants....and closed sole shoes (NO sandles or flip-flops) must be worn with full uniform for lab environment purposes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Come with a signed Merit Badge application from your Scoutmaster. THERE WILL BE NO MERIT BADGE APPLICATIONS HANDED OUT AT THE COLLEGE. It is at the discretion of the Merit Badge Counselor as to pre-requisites for each merit badge. Afternoon session may end prior to 4:00 pm...at the MB counselor's discretion.

     

ATTEND ADULT LEADER ADVANCEMENT SEMINAR!!!

Six 1 hour advancement sessions are being offered below:

  1. Advancement in a Boy Led Troop.
    (Time: 9:00 am - 9:50 am)

  2. Trail to First Class.
    (Time: 10:00 am - 10:50 am)

  3. Merit Badge Program in the Troop.
    (Time: 11:00 am - 11:50 am)

  4. Summer Camp Advancement.
    (Time: 1:30 pm - 2:20 pm)

  5. What Constitutes A Good Eagle Project.
    (Time: 2:30 pm - 3:20 pm)
  1. Troop Boards of Review.
    (Time: 3:30 pm - 4:20 pm)

FOLLOWING MERIT BADGES ARE OFFERED:
(Where applicable, all merit badges will be very lab intensive. Extensive science and industry labs offered for most merit badges.) Pre-requisites are listed below & some merit badge counselors may choose to NOT list pre-requisites.

**ROBOTICS: Robotics is a new merit badge scheduled for BSA release April 2011. It is still in the preliminary design stage, we are offering it as an introductory hands-on labratory seminar. No merit badge will be awarded at this time.
