Congratulations Commissioner Rawls and Staff
Joining District Commissioner Rawls, and Unit Commissioner
Marianne Bedore, Carl Neal, and James Richards, are
our new Unit Commissioners, Rodriquez Abelardo, Bill
Carr, Roger Doyle, Gary Kautz, Sandra Giles, Richard
Holland, James Moton, Matt Lawrence
New Finance Chair
Congratulations to our Baden-Powell District Chair Kevin
Hammer, Tom Beleic, and Commissioner Rawls for their
assistance with recruiting a new Finance chair for the
Baden –Powell District.
Our new Finance Chair is Jim Buick, Assistant Vice President
Mortgage Originator.
As well as a new Finance Captain Priscilla Escobar of
Citizens Bank.
Vice Chair for Community Relations
We also have a new Vice Chair of Relations John McCoy
former Pupil Personel Director for Flint City School
District.
Crim Festival of Races
Date: Saturday, August 23, 2008
Location: Downtown, Flint on the
corner of First and Saginaw Street.
The Crim Is a world- class race, and one of the largest
events in Genesee County. The Crim has selected the
Tall Pine Council, Boy Scouts of America as there primary
service Organization for the year 2008.
We need your support! If your Unit would like to participate

Roundtable News

Roundtable is a great forum for resources, information,
fun, and learning. We encourage EVERY UNIT to attend.
Refund and Transfer Policy
A written request with a brief explanation
for the cancellation must be sent to the Tall Pine Council
Service Center. The request should be received by the
Service Center at least 3 weeks prior to the camp, activity,
or event start date. A 10 percent (minimum $5.00) administration
fee will be withheld from the refund. Refund requests
received after the camp, activity, or event will be
denied (extentuating circumstances may be the only exception).
Transferring fees from one person to another is permissible
before the event. The Tall Pine Council should be notified
in writing of all transfers. This cancellation / refund
policy was effective January 1, 1998, and supercedes
any prior cancellation / refund policy of the Tall Pine
Council, BSA.
