Day Camp
This is a fun adventure for you and your son, under
the supervision of trained volunteer leadership and
carried on in an outdoor setting. The program of the
camp is designed to meet the needs and interests of
boys in preparation for achievements, electives and
activity badges within the program of their packs. The
Cub Scout Day Camps are staffed by qualified and trained
volunteers. The Program Director and the Camp Director
must attend and be certified by the National Camping
School of the Boy Scouts of amerce. Other staff members
must also be trained for their responsibilities. The
camps are also inspected and must meet a rigorous set
of guidelines in order to operate.

Family Camp
Family camps are an opportunity for a parent and son
to share in an outdoor camping experience in the true
spirit of Scouting. These are weeded camps that are
offered at various times through the summer. There are
several versions to choose from. Camps offer the opportunity
for a parent and son to share in the experience of hiking,
fishing, camping and enjoy the companionship of an evening
campfire.

Cub Scout Summer Camp
Cub Scout Summer Camp is a theme related camping program
for Cub Scouts and their leaders. Sumemr Camp allows
units to send their Cub Scout dens to camp under their
own leadership. A minimum of two leaders are required
to attend with their scouts. A ratio of four scouts
to one leader must be maintained. In 2007 there will
be two sessions; July 12-15 and July 19-22. Camping
will be centered around the theme of “South of
the Board ”. Following campsite set-up there will
be an opening ceremony. ALL participants should eat
dinner before arriving at camp. Friday and Saturday
will be filled with exciting activities. Archery, BB
Guns, Swimming, games, crafts, and theme related events.
The Camp will end Sunday morning following breakfast,
a Scouts own service and closing ceremony. Summer camp
is recommended for Cub Scouts who will be Wolfs, Bears,
and Webelos when school starts in September of 2007.

With all the new exciting changes happening with The
Cub Scout Camping program for the 2007 Camping Season,
it may be a little confusing to know what camp is right
for your son. The following is a recommended
chart for what camps fit what age levels.
This chart is to be used as a tool in deciding what
camps you and your son will attend this summer. If you
